West End Counseling Center

Our biblical “West End Counseling Center” is an important part of the discipleship ministry of Pendleton Street Baptist Church. Paul, in Colossians 3:16a, says “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom…” We believe that it is essential for any church’s discipleship ministry to have both a teaching arm and an admonishment arm. Therefore, this counseling ministry will provide occasional courses during CLA (parenting, marriage, etc.) and will offer times for individual and family counseling for those in need.

PSBC Children’s Ministry and GPS Program

Children are so important here at PSBC! Our curriculum is the Gospel Project for Kids: A Bible study resource that shows how Christ fits into the entire gospel story, pre-creation to eternity. And where each one of us fits into it, too. The Gospel Project for Kids is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events—presenting the story of redemption through Jesus like kids have never seen it before! Each week, these stories come to life through video, music, activities, and more. Children’s Sunday School meets Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and the GPS Program are Tuesdays at 6:30 during the school year. Christian Life Academy

The key to Spiritual Growth that we see from both the model and the instruction of the New Testament is to connect with other believers in small groups to study God’s Word, and to apply it to our lives. The relationships that are built in small groups are resources God gives us for encouragement, understanding, and walking in step with the Holy Spirit on a daily basis. On Sunday mornings we encourage you to connect with one of the following studies to strengthen your walk with God, and to be an encouragement to others. All Classes begin at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday morning at the Hilton Greenville.

Home Groups

Home Groups are a  continuation of what we learn on Sundays, in a more friendly, open atmosphere, intended to foster strong relationships within  our church family. God loves people. He established the church in order that people can experience transformation. He has decided, for His own good reasons, that people are best transformed through authentic relationships. In authentic relationships we discover who we really are and how much transformation we still require. In authentic relationships we “do the work of the ministry” and build up one another in truth.
