Young Adults
Our Young Adult Department gathers for coffee and a light fellowship breakfast every week in Room 230. After a brief time of fellowship and announcements, the lesson is introduced. Currently the Life Bible Study curriculum is being used to study Yahweh-Divine Encounters in the Old Testament. After the opening time, the group divides into the following small groups for further study and discussion:
College/Career: Teachers- Wayne and Amanda Tinklepaugh; This group of young adult men and women are between the ages of 18-24 an are currently in college or beginning careers. After the opening session, they move to room 231.
Single Adults: Teachers- Ted and Jennifer Richard; These young, single adults are between the ages of 20-34 and are beginning careers or in graduate school. Please join them on the second floor in room 232 after the opening session.
Young Married Adults: Teachers- Wally and Jean Harris; These young married adults are between the ages of 23-35, with some having children and some not. They remain in room 230 for small group study and discussion.
Women’s Small Group: Teacher- Michelle King
Women of all ages who are single or single on Sunday are invited for this time of Bible study and encouragement focusing on God’s Word and women’s issues. Please join them on the second floor in Room 223.
Adult Bible Fellowship: Teachers- Ricky Evans, Steve Parker and Art Ramirez
This class consists of men and women predominantly between the ages of 35-55, and they enjoy time studying and discussing God’s Word as well as time in fellowship and encouragement ministries. Currently they are using Group Publishing's Faithweaver Series, focusing on Old Testament heroes in the faith. Please find them on the second floor in Room 222.
The Charles Fayssoux Class: Teacher- Charles Fayssoux
This mission-minded class of adult men and women enjoys coffee and Bible Study each week centered around the Smyth & Helwys, Formations Bible Study. Ages vary, and they gather in Room 132 on the main floor.
TLC Class: Teachers- Don Cresswell and Charles Lawton
This class is comprised primarily of senior adult married couples, and they are true to their name. Not only do they enjoy gathering for Bible study, they also provide love and care for one another and for others. They study Lifeway's, Life Ventures as their lesson guide, and they gather each week in Room 120.
Lawton Bible Class: Teacher- Oregon Lawton
This class is comprised primarily of senior adult men and women who are both married and single. They gather every Sunday for worship and Bible study in room 130. They use LifeWay's, Life Words KJV, Bible Study series.
Baker/Huff Class: Teachers- Ray Baker and Bruce King
This class of senior adult men use Lifeway's Life Ventures, as a guide for Bible study each week. Please join them in room 124 immediately following the Senior Adult Assembly each week, held in room 122.
Fidelis/Heartwarmers Class: Teachers- Phoebe Crouch and Ernestine King
These senior adult women meet each week for prayer and Bible study using Lifeway's Life Ventures as a guide. They are committed to staying connected with and encouraging their members who are unable to attend. Please join them in room 126 immediately following the Senior Adult Assembly, held each week in room 122.
Unity Class: Teacher- Fay Jay
This senior adult women's class gathers each week using Smyth and Helwys, Formations, as their study guide. They are committed to caring for and encouraging all members of their class. Please find them in room 127 immediately following the Senior Adult Assembly, held in room 122.
FaithSeekers Class: Teacher- Virginia Bryant and Mary McDavid
This senior adult women's class enjoys Bible study and discussion using Smyth and Helwys, Formations, as a guide. Please join them in room 125 immediately following the Senior Adult Assembly, held in room 122 each week.
